fonts-gfs-gazis software package provides ancient Greek font (Byzantine cursive hand style), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-gfs-gazis
fonts-gfs-gazis is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-gfs-gazis package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-gfs-gazis *
You will get with fonts-gfs-gazis package name, version, architecture and description in a table
